Come out and join us for An Evening of Jazz on February 19th at 7:00 PM at Centennial High School. This special event will showcase the amazing talent of our high school jazz band, as well as jazz ensembles from our feeder elementary and middle schools. It’s sure to be a fantastic night of music, and we’d love to see you there!

In addition to joining us for this great evening, we’re asking for your support to help our jazz band reach the next level. We’re currently raising funds for a new jazz sound system that will dramatically improve the quality of our performances. This equipment will ensure that every note our musicians play is heard clearly and will give our students the opportunity to perform with professional-grade sound at concerts and community events.

It’s time for Friends of Music’s annual Bingo Fundraiser on February 15, 2025! This is our largest - and most fun! - fundraising event of the year, and we need your help. We are looking for donations to help us create our prize baskets.

Sign-up to Volunteer
Help make our Bingo Night a success! Please consider signing up for a slot [or two!] to volunteer your time. We made sure to break up the times so that there is still time for volunteers to play Bingo and join in the fun! Silent Auction and Raffle table volunteers are more than welcome to play Bingo at the table - you are generally only busy during breaks. We also need donations of paper plates and coolers. Concessions Coordinator Needed
We are currently looking for a Concessions Coordinator (or grab a friend to share the job). The Concessions Coordinator will oversee purchasing, set up on Bingo Night, and work with volunteers to help with sales. Our Bingo Coordinator will oversee donations and getting night of volunteers. We can provide you with a list of items to be purchased and what coordinator has done in past years, so it's a great way to jump into an established volunteer role. ​CHS Friends of Music has set up an online fundraiser with Double Good Popcorn to help students raise money for their student accounts. The fundraiser will go live next Tuesday, November 12th at 9am and run through Saturday, November 16th at 9am. Participation is optional, but 50% of all sales your student earns goes directly into their student accounts. These accounts - and the money in them - stay with your student as long as they are in the Music program and can be used for any trip the Music Department has, like Disney. We plan to do this fundraiser every year in order to help students earn money for Music Department trips!
 
Before the fundraiser begins next week:

Saturday, October 19, 2024 10am to 5pm (CHS Cafeteria)

If you or someone you know is looking to replace a bed, now is the time!  The Mattress Fundraiser hosted in our very own high school cafeteria will have 25+ different styles of beds on display for customers to try. We have partnered with Custom Fundraising Solutions who works with Mattress Warehouse to transform our cafeteria into a mattress showroom! The beds are new, brand name—including the popular Purple mattress--made to order, available in all sizes, and cost up to 50% less than suggested retail.

Don't forget, for every referral your student brings in, they earn $25 for the student account. This money can be used for a future music program trip. 

We are in need of parent volunteers for Saturday. Volunteers will be present to greet potential customers and thank them for their support of the Music Program at CHS. No sales involved. You will also serve as a liaison to the sales team for any questions they may have throughout the day. There may also be some downtime, so feel free to bring a book, work, etc. You can also bring a friend/partner/high schooler if you'd like some company during your shift.
