The Harris Family Music Scholarship, made possible through the generous $10,000 donation from the Harris family in 2024, provides financial assistance to students wishing to pursue private music lessons-an invaluable opportunity to grow as a musician. Up to three recipients will be selected from the Centennial High School band, orchestra, and choir programs. The recipient(s) will receive a package of 4-6 private lessons to be used in-person with a private instructor of their choice. Funds will be distributed directly to the student's private music instructor and must be used for lesson fees only. To qualify, applicants must demonstrate both financial need and a commitment to their musical development. Save the Date for Annual BINGO: February 15thBingo Night is a fun community event to raises money for Friends of Music. Performances from jazz, choir, and orchestra kick off the evening. Invite your friends and family to join us and encourage your neighbors with future CHS musicians to hear fantastic music and possibly win some great prizes. Volunteers are needed to help secure and pick up donations. We are also looking for corporate sponsors. If you are interested in helping or making a donation., please email [email protected] The Double Good Popcorn Fundraiser to raise funds for student accounts was a success! Over $4,000 was raised for participating students in this direct fundraising event. 100% of money raised goes into student accounts for any department trips. Greg’s Driving School Earn money for music programs when you register for classes with Greg’s Driving School! Enter CENTENNIAL into the fundraising code at registration and a portion will be donated to FOM. SPIRIT WEAR IS BACK! Pre-orders begin Dec. 2nd Just in time to for gift giving, Friends of Music will be selling Music Department spirit wear including sweatshirts and PJ pants!
